Welcome to
Cornwall Outdoors
Cornwall Outdoors has been delivering outdoor training courses for over
30 years covering activities such as climbing, mountaineering, sailing,
kayaking and canoeing. Various courses are available and include professional
instructor training for those seeking a career in the outdoors; top-up
courses for those already qualified and who want to upgrade their qualifications;
and short courses for teachers and youth workers wishing to use the outdoors
with their young people.
We have on our staff team a range of highly qualified coaches and instructors
who have been working in the outdoor industry for many years with all
kinds of client groups including young people, the military, the youth
service and corporate clients. We are therefore very attuned to the needs
of employers and can give sound advice on career progression to course
delegates. In some instances we are able to offer employment opportunities
to those with suitable qualifications and experience.
We are uniquely placed to offer a range of courses and we take full advantage
of the fantastic coastline, rivers, crags and moors within Cornwall and
west Devon to deliver the main content of our courses. For the specialist
mountain work we travel to our Celtic cousins in Wales, particularly Snowdonia
and the Brecon Beacons.
Sign up for one of our courses and you are guaranteed a professional
service delivered by friendly, experienced and highly motivated staff
with a passion for the outdoors.
